My research focuses on Japanese/English pragmatics, sociolinguistics and intercultural communication. I am interested in the cultural influences on linguistic behaviour.

② こんなコラボできたら嬉しい！

I find mixed methods research interesting, but often find it difficult to show the relationship between quantitative and qualitative results.

I have the same ploblem….

I enjoy analysing linguistic interactions as well as researching new topics, and discovering links in previous research.

It’s very interesting.
