A research proposal jointly submitted by our laboratory and the University of Jodhpur in India has been selected for the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST)’s LOTUS Programme (ASPIRE). This program aims to invite outstanding young researchers from India to Japanese universities and other institutions to promote the international exchange of talent between Japan and India through collaborative research, thereby contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of Japan’s scientific and technological capabilities and the creation of innovation. Starting in December, we will welcome a doctoral student from Jadavpur University to our laboratory for one year to jointly develop an intelligent drug delivery system (DDS) carrier that integrates our “DNA Origami Box” with their polymer nanoparticle fabrication technology.
