Please follow the steps below to prepare for final submission.

  1. Revising your paper
    Authors need to revise their papers in light of the reviewers’ comments.
    Note that if your paper exceeds 6 pages, an excess fee of 2000 yen per page will be charged.
    Payment of the excess fee should be made through IEEE CYBCONF2021 Peatix System (https://cybconf2021.peatix.com/view). If you are the author of two papers, and Paper 1 is one page exceeding and Paper 2 is two pages exceeding, you need to purchase three tickets of Extra Page Fee via IEEE CYBCONF2021 Peatix System.
  2. Preparing a PDF for final submission
    1. Ensuring the paper in A4 Paper size conforms to the standard of IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings (https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html).
    2. The copyright notice must be added to the footer of the paper.
      • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:
        U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
      • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:
        978-1-6654-0320-7/21/$31.00 ©2021 Crown
      • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is:
        978-1-6654-0320-7/21/$31.00 ©2021 European Union
      • For all other papers the copyright notice is:

  3. Submitting your final-version paper (By May 15, 2021)
    The conformed PDF must be submitted via Microsoft CMT (https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/CYBCONF2021/).
  4. Transferring copyright to IEEE (By May 15, 2021)
    Authors need to transfer their copyright to IEEE to be published on Conference Proceedings (ISBN: 978-1-6654-0319-1) and IEEE Xplore (ISBN: 978-1-6654-0320-7). Authors need to create an electronic IEEE Copyright Form from Microsoft CMT when submitting a camera-ready paper and upload the file to CMT. You can find a detailed instruction here.

Information for Authors

All papers submitted to CYBCONF2021, whether for review or publication upon acceptance, must be written in English and formatted in the standard 2-column format provided on IEEE templates for conference proceedings (https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html).

  • For the purpose of the “review” process, all regular and invited papers are limited to a total of 8 pages. PaperCept will not allow longer papers to be uploaded. The decision regarding the acceptance of each paper at discretion of the Conference’s Technical Program Committee.
  • In order to be suitable for publication in the conference proceedings, all accepted and invited papers are limited to 6 pages. The authors may upload a longer manuscript up to a maximum of 8 pages in total. However, each page exceeding six will incur an additional charge.
  • If the paper is accepted, one of the authors listed on the paper must present the paper according to the schedule decided by the Conference’s Technical Program Committee.
  • At least one of the authors listed on the paper must register for CYBCONF2021 to upload the final manuscript.
  • All submissions will be tested for similarity and overlap with prior published material. Results of such overlap will be made available to the Program Committee for evaluation. In case of possible violations of the IEEE ethics rules in publishing, the case will be investigated by the Conference Administrators.
