He graduated from Kobe University in \n1987 and got his Master\u2019s degree in Business Administration in 1989 and \nhis Ph.D degree in 1996 also from Kobe University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He joined Kansai University in 1992 and was a visiting \nresearcher at the Japan Centre at Manchester University from April 1996 \nto March 1997.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His teaching on Human Resource Management, both at the \nundergraduate and graduate school level, is based on his in-depth \nresearch. He utilizes the interactive method in order for students to be\n participative and to construct their own perspectives about work \nrelated matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His research interest is in the autonomous working way which covers humanization of work, teamworking and work-life balance. (2001) \u201cHave the seeds of Japanese  teamworking taken root abroad?\u201d <em>New Technology, Work and Employment<\/em>,  Vol.16, No.3, pp.178-190.                                 <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"en02\">For Graduate Research Student or Graduate Student applicants <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants for Graduate Research Student ( hereafter GRS, Kenkyu-sei \nin Japanese), are required either to be a Bachelor of business \nadministration ( especially in human resource management ) or related \nfield of social science, or to have more than one year of work \nexperience in any industry. By meeting at the university, Professor \nMorita\u2019s name stamp is put on the application form. This does NOT imply \nthe acceptance as the GRS, but only the approval to take an entrance \nexamination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To become a graduate student, you are required to pass  an entrance examination. Professor Morita\u2019s approval name stamp is not  required for applying for it. However, it is strongly recommended that a  preliminary in-person or online meeting with Professor Morita should be held before turning  in the application form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The overview of the two-year tutorial for getting a degree of Master of Sociology is as follows:<br>\nThis class is given in the form of a seminar with students under \nProfessor Morita\u2019s tutorial. This class is primarily conducted in \nJapanese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#d5ccc4\"><strong>1<sup>st<\/sup> semester (Spring, 1st year) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tutorial of the basic skills and required reading for completing a  master\u2019s thesis. A tentative title for the thesis is required to be  submitted to Professor Morita around the middle of July. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#d5ccc4\"><strong>2<sup>nd<\/sup> semester (Autumn, 1st year) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tutoring for completing a master\u2019s thesis. Giving a presentation of your  research once a month and turning in a report of the presentation are  required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#d5ccc4\"><strong>3<sup>rd<\/sup> semester (Spring, 2nd year) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tutoring for completing a master\u2019s thesis. Giving a presentation of your  research once a month and turning in a report of the presentation are  required. Around the end of September, your title for the thesis should  be submitted officially. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#d5ccc4\"><strong>4<sup>th<\/sup> semester (Autumn, 2nd year)  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tutoring for completing a master\u2019s thesis. Giving a presentation of your  research once a month and turning in a report of the presentation are  required. The master\u2019s thesis should be submitted around the middle of  January.
