About Laboratory of Environmental Materials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u74b0\u5883\u6750\u6599\u7814\u7a76\u5ba4\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As the demands of society become ever more sophisticated, the functions and the properties required of materials are also becoming ever more sophisticated. We are developing metallic and inorganic materials and their surface modification technologies to meet the needs of the next generation under the keyword “Environment”. The word is very simple and familiar, but it covers a wide range of topics, such as “biological environment” for medical materials, “social environment” and “economic environment” for welfare materials, and “marine environment” and “high temperature environment” which are harsh for metallic materials. We are working on the design of materials that can be adapted to all kinds of “environments” with a focus on “Principles” and “Perspectives”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
