Research in geotechnical and earthquake engineering often involves both experimental and analytical approaches. Additionally, field investigations based on observational data and real earthquake damage play a crucial role. In recent years, efforts have been directed toward developing more precise models and advanced measurement techniques to address the increasing risks posed by climate change and urbanization. This field plays a vital role in reducing seismic risks and carries significant social importance.
